Farmington Hills, MI - Jan. 25, 2007 - Hermanoff & Associates, a full-service public relations/marketing firm, announces the promotion of Aswathy Mathew from assistant account executive to account executive. Company President/CEO Sandy Hermanoff announced the promotion.
In her new role, Mathew will be crucial to the implementation of public relations programs on behalf of the firm's clients and the execution of the day-to-day activities of multiple accounts in the consumer and retail sectors.
Mathew is an active member of the Detroit chapter of Public Relations Society of America and is the current chair of the PRSA/PRSSA Mentor Prot�g� Program. She was also a featured speaker at the Public Relations Student Society of America Student Development Conference at Eastern Michigan University.
Prior to joining Hermanoff, Mathew completed internships at two public relations firms while serving as president/special events coordinator for the James S. Measell Chapter of PRSSA.
Her experiences have helped her to become a skilled and disciplined writer, editor and proofreader, as well as goal-oriented and creative. She was honored with the PRSSA Activity Award, Henry M. Sheldon Scholarship and Macomb Literacy Partners Tutoring Award.
Mathew graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and linguistics, and earned a Master of Arts specializing in public relations and organizational communication from Wayne State University in June.
In her free time, Mathew enjoys reading classic literature and recently began writing her own novel.
