Farmington Hills, Mich. - September 5, 2007 - Hermanoff & Associates Public Relations has been named one of 60 "Cool Places to Work" by Crain's Detroit Business for the second time in three years.

The 60 "Cool Places to Work" winners were narrowed down from 215 companies nominated by their employees. The nominees were asked to fill out an online survey conducted by the Southfield-based American Society of Employers, (ASE). The survey provided objective measurements about policies, benefits, and talent management. Scores were then calculated based on company size.

Hermanoff & Associates offers its employees flextime, half-day Fridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and lunch & learn meetings. They have seasonal "Hermanoff Day of Fun" to reward employees for their hard work. Last summer they had a secret lunch outing, a surprise bridal shower for an employee, and a Tigers game with dinner.

According to Kevin Marrs, Director of survey service at ASE, there were some surprises from the surveys. Normally, companies are expending efforts to conserve its current employees in today's uncertain economy, but those named as a "Cool Place to Work" demonstrated a shift from this pattern, creating incentives to recruit top talent and offering a unique environment that encourages growth and opportunity.
